Call for Papers

We would like to invite you to take active part in this event by submitting your paper(s) for the selection process.

Paper Submission

After you are notified of the acceptance of your abstract, you must submit your full paper on the EES website  (http://ees.elsevier.com/procir/default.asp). You must create your full paper in MS Word format (downloadable here) or in Latex format (downloadable here). The generic template as PDF is found hereThe maximum number of pages per paper is 6.

 

As an author, you are required to submit a PDF as well as a source file copy of your paper. Doc/docx/latex are acceptable formats of source files.

 

Please ensure you submit your full paper manuscript on the EES website as a revision, not as a 'new submission'.

 

After the review process, authors will receive the final confirmation of paper acceptance.

IMPORTANT: In order for a paper to be included in the Proceedings and the Technical Program, at least one registration fee per accepted paper must be made by April 15th, 2017.

 

Abstract Submission

Acceptance of papers is based on review of the full manuscript.  However, prospective authors should submit a short abstract in advance in order to evaluate the fit of the suggested topic with the scope of the conference and potential merit of the proposed paper.

 

In order to submit your abstract and later on your full paper, you have to register online to create your own account on EES website (http://ees.elsevier.com/procir/default.asp). It will allow you to track all your paper process.

 

The abstract, containing a maximum of 300 words, should highlight the novel aspects of the work, list 3 key word, and indicate the relevance of the paper to the conference topics. It must be created using the CIRP CMS 2017 abstract template (downloadable here).

 

Note:

•  Authors must select “SI: 50th CMS” when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process. 

•  Authors must select the correct Section/Category “SI: 50th CMS” and Managing Guest Editor (Mitchell Tseng) for this special issue.
